Skyband has noticed an increase in Phishing SPAM on its mail servers and would like to warn its clients about the dangers and perils of phishing emails.

Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail or instant messaging, and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate one. This will result in your acocunt being hacked and you could possibly have your confidential information compromised.

PLEASE NOTE: Skyband (or any other service provider/organisation) will never ask you to confirm your username and/or password by email or ask you to enter your username/password onto a website. If you are unsure about the nature of an email, please call our customer care lines on the numbers listed below.
